Our Mission: Empowering Families & Building Futures

Empowering women and children in Detroit through structured housing pathways and community development.

Learn more about our mission

What began as a vision to build homes for children in need has grown into a dual mission:

  •  Foster Villa, LLC: Offering home-based job opportunities and contractor support.

  •  Foster Villa Foundation: Foster Villa Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our long-term development model is designed to grow in stages.

 Foster Villa Foundation's Impact:

Foster Villa Foundation is building pathways toward housing stability, family support, and stronger communities in Detroit.

Our work is currently focused on community-based initiatives, land research, strategic partnerships, resource connections, and the development of a sustainable housing stabilization model.

Through neighborhood engagement and community gardening, we are creating opportunities for learning, connection, wellness, and food access while laying the groundwork for future supportive housing programs.

Our long-term vision includes transitional and stabilization housing supported by workforce development, life-skills education, mental health and wellness resources, and pathways toward independent living

About the Founder

Hello, I’m Kiedonya Craley, founder of Foster Villa, LLC, and Foster Villa Foundation.

As a U.S. military veteran and early childhood educator, my mission is driven by a passion for purposeful service, grounded in both compassion and faith.

With experience across Georgia, Florida, and Michigan, I’ve witnessed firsthand the powerful impact of flexible, family-centered support. Holding a Diploma in Early Childhood Education, Certification in Program Management, and a Bachelor's in Psychology, I’m currently pursuing a Master’s in Business to expand my reach and impact.

My goal is to serve others with dignity and care, blending spiritual guidance with practical tools to help rebuild lives.

Foster Villa was created to offer more than services — we offer second chances. Whether you’re seeking remote work, housing stability, or a place of healing, we believe in walking this journey with you, led by faith and not by fear.
